The Empire State Plaza
TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer men's hockey team will skate at the Empire State Plaza in Albany this Wednesday, January 25, from 6-7pm. The public is invited to join the Engineers for skating, to get autographs or to take photographs. There will be free posters as well as a free child's ticket available for participants.
The rink, which is set up and run by the Office of General Services, is open every day from 11am to 8pm., though the rink is closed from 3 to 4pm for maintenance. It is free to the public and ice skate rentals are $3 for children under 12 and $4 for adults. There is also a full-service snack bar for people to enjoy and a skate lounge with lockers.
