TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) athletic department has released the 2026-27 men's ice hockey schedule. The Engineers will suit up for 34 regular season games, including 17 home contests inside Houston Field House.

RPI will open the year with an exhibition matchup against Army on October 3 before beginning the regular season with four consecutive home games. The Engineers welcome Ohio State University to Troy for a two-game series on October 9 and 10, followed by back-to-back home contests against LIU on October 16 and 17.

The Engineers will make their first road trip of the season the following weekend, traveling to RIT for matchups on October 23 and 24. RPI then opens ECAC Hockey action with a rivalry weekend against Union College inside Houston Field House on October 30 before visiting the Garnet Chargers on October 31.

RPI continues conference play with road contests at St. Lawrence University and Clarkson University on November 6 and 7 before stepping back out of league play for games at the University of New Hampshire on November 13 and the University of Massachusetts Lowell on November 14.

The Engineers return home to host Brown University and Yale University on November 20 and 21, followed by a home-and-home series with Army on November 27 and 28. RPI closes the first half of its schedule with ECAC Hockey home contests against Harvard University on December 4 and Dartmouth College on December 5.

After opening the new year at home against the University of Vermont on January 2, the Engineers continue their homestand with league matchups against Colgate University on January 8 and Cornell University on January 9. RPI then travels to Yale and Brown on January 15 and 16 before meeting Union College in the Capital District Mayor's Cup on January 23 at Harding Mazzotti Arena in Glens Falls, N.Y.

The Engineers close January with home contests against Clarkson and St. Lawrence on January 29 and 30 before playing four straight ECAC Hockey road games at Quinnipiac University, Princeton University, Dartmouth, and Harvard. RPI will play its final home weekend of the regular season on February 19 and 20 against Princeton and Quinnipiac before concluding the regular season on the road at Cornell on February 26 and Colgate on February 27.
