Nikki Goodsell each netted two goals to help the Engineers snap a two-game slide and even their record up at 3-3 on the year.
The Pioneers (4-1) received their first blemish of the season as all six of the game's goals came in the first half of play. Senior forward Marissa Hotaling netted her first collegiate goal to account for the Pioneers' lone tally of the night.
UC returns to the pitch on Sunday when it takes on visiting SUNY Potsdam at 1 p.m., while the Engineers close out a five-game road trip on Tuesday night when they travel to Vermont to take on Castleton State at 7 p.m.

Rachel Tietzen got in on the action with an assist on Goodsell's second tally at 29:45.
Hotaling was able to answer for the Pioneers with a shot from 30 yards out that sailed over RPI goalie
Marisa Sciolino's outstretched hands in the 36th minute.
Rothschild finished the scoring just like she started it as she tallied her fourth of the year in the 43rd minute.
Shannon Maguire was credited with an assist after she delivered a perfect through ball to Rothschild in front of the net.
UC goalie Caitlyn Smith stopped 12 shots (10 in the second half) in net for the Pioneers, while Sciolino and
Steph Vargas combined for two saves in goal for RPI.
The Engineers earned a 24-6 shot advantage and they also edged the Pioneers 7-2 in corner kick opportunities.
