HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth forward Lindsey Allen broke a 1-1 tie just under seven minutes into the third period on Friday to lead the Big Green to a come-from-behind, 2-1, victory over Rensselaer in ECAC Hockey action at Thompson Arena. The loss snapped the Engineers' four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1) and drops them to 10-12-2 overall and 6-6-1 in ECAC Hockey.

Senior Toni Sanders put RPI in front at 8:50 of the first period with her fifth goal of the year. Alexa Gruschow and Kathryn Schilter had the assists on the goal, which came with the Engineers on the power play.

Dartmouth tied the game just 1:28 of the second period when Laura Stacey beat Rensselaer junior goaltender Kelly O'Brien

The score remained tied until 6:58 of the third period when, for the second consecutive game, Allen netted the game-winner. Catherine Berghuis broke out and was stopped on the doorstep by O'Brien. Allen came flying in and slammed the rebound home to give the Big Green a lead they would not relinquish.

Dartmouth (6-13-1, 5-8-1) has now won back-to-back games for the first time this year.

O'Brien finished with 22 saves, while Lindsay Holdcroft stopped 29 shots, including 11 in the third period, for the win.
