LONG LAYOFF: The Engineers conclude a 10-day break between games on Friday ... The layoff is the longest of the season.

NORTH COUNTRY RIVALS: Clarkson and St. Lawrence visit Troy for two games this weekend ... RPI hosts the Golden Knights on Friday afternoon (4pm), before welcoming the Saints on Saturday (2pm).

RENSSELAER TIES AT WILLIAMS: Junior Nathaniel Gunderson tallied in the 72nd minute, but the host Ephs battled back for a goal just seven minutes later to secure a 1-1 draw on September 23 ... An evenly played opening 45 minutes, saw Williams hold a 5-3 edge in shots on goal ... In the second half, Gunderson was able to capitalize on one of his team-best five attempts for a 1-0 lead ... A Zach Grady free kick from 25 yards out equalized for the hosts and neither side was able to score in extra time.

OFFENSIVE LEADERS: Senior captain Matt Koziol (2 goals, 2 assists), sophomore Vito Mesiti (2 goals, 2 assists) and junior Nathaniel Gunderson (3 goals) are all tied for th team lead with six points ... Juniors Matt Carberry (2 goals, 1 assist) and Esmir Hadzic (2 goals, 1 assist) have five points apiece.

IN GOAL: Senior captain Rob Dewald (5-1-2) has played 745:06 for the Engineers so far this season, compiling a 0.36 goals against average and an .917 save percentage ... Sophomore Alex Kessler (1-0) has played 120:08, turning away the only shot on goal he has faced.

PACING THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS: Junior Marco Parisi (2 goals, 4 assists) leads Clarkson with eight points ... He is followed by sophomore Tucker Wilcox (3 goals) with six points and the trio of freshman Kevin Calnan (2 goals, 1 assist) and seniors Trevor Blackwell (2 goals, 1 assist) and Maximillian Leetz (1 goal, 3 assists), with five points apiece ... In goal, sophomore Michael King (5-5-1) has played all 11 games and carries a 1.07 goals against average and an .815 save percentage.

ST. LAWRENCE LEADERS: The Saints have seen 12 different players score 24 goals so far this season, including sophomore Rob Brandell (4 goals, 2 assists), who leads the team with 10 points ... Following closely behind is junior Morgan Smith (3 goals, 3 assists) with nine points ... In net, senior Aaron Costello (3-1) and sophomore Sean Houston (4-1) have each made six apperances ... Costello has a 1.67 goals against average and a .538 save percentage, while Houston has a 1.07 GAA and a .739 SA%.

NATIONAL LEADERS: The Engineers rank third nationally in goals against average (0.31)and save percentage (.921) ... RPI and St. Lawrence are tied for 39th in win-loss percentage (.778).

THE CAPTAINS: Seniors Rob Dewald and Matt Koziol will lead the Engineers on the field for the 2014 season ... Both are wearing captain's armbands for the second straight season.
