PERFECT LEAGUE START: RPI kicked-off its Liberty League schedule with a pair of wins over North Country-rivals Clarkson and St. Lawrence last weekend ... Sophomore Cori Winlsow netted her team-leading fourth goal of the season and senior Emily Eastman bagged the eventual game-winner to lift the Engineers over the Golden Knights on Friday, 2-1 ... On Saturday, junior Coley Mowder scored the game's only goal in the 53rd minute, and the Engineers were able to hold on for the 1-0 victory over the Saints.

RENSSELAER LEADERS: Sophomore Cori Winslow leads the Engineers with nine points on four goals and one assist ... Senior captain Taylor Korytko (3 goals, 1 assist) is second with seven points, while junior Coley Mowder (2 goals) rounds out the top three scorers with four points.

IN GOAL: Freshman Tori Riopelle (7-3-1) has started all 11 games in goal for the Engineers and carries a 0.71 goals against average and an .849 save percentage ... She has seen 104 shots, including 53 on-goal and has earned three shutouts.

RPI AT HOME: The Engineers are 18-11-2 at East Campus Stadium over the last three seasons, including a 6-2-0 mark last year ... RPI has had at least five home victories in four of the last five campaigns.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Freshman goalkeeper Tori Riopelle was tabbed as the Rookie of the Week after going 2-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and an .889 save percentage ... Helping the Engineers beat Clarkson (2-1) and St. Lawrence (1-0) last week, she made eight saves and recorded a shutout, while playing all 180 minutes on the team's North Country trip.

UNION DRAWS WITH CLARKSON: For the second consecutive day, Union was unable to put a goal on the board in playing to a 0-0 double overtime tie against Clarkson at Hantz Turf Field on Saturday ... The scoreless draw was the first for the 25th-ranked Dutchwomen since the 2006 season ... Each team placed six shots on goal, with the Golden Knights holding a 13-9 edge in total shots ... Julia Delaney came off the bench to lead Union with three total shots ... In net, senior Allison Brustowicz earned her fifth shutout this year, and the 12th of her career.

PACING THE DUTCHWOMEN: Union is led offensively by senior captain Whitney Bickford, who has 12 points on four goals and four assists ... Junior skipper Breana Derella (3 goals, 1 assist) is second with seven points, while freshman Katie Monahan (3 goals) is third with six points ... Between the sticks, senior Allison Brustowicz (7-2-2) has started all 11 matches, compiling a 0.53 goals against average and a .905 save percentage, with five shutouts.

LAST MEETING: Mollie Gilchrist netted a seventh minute goal and the Dutchwomen were able to hang on for a 1-0 victory in Schenectady, on October 9, 2013 ... Alex Scholz made one save in the second half, after Steph Vargas surrendered the first half marker.

RPI VS. UNION ALL-TIME: The Dutchwomen hold a 23-4 lead in the all-time series, dating back to the 1988 season ... Union won the inaugural meeting, 2-0 ... Fifteen of the 27 meetings have been decided by one goal ... All four of Rensselaer's victories have been by just a single goal.

RECENTLY: Union has won 11 of the last 12 games in the series, dating back to 2003 ... RPI's last win came in 2011, when the Engineers came away with a 1-0 victory in Schnectady ... RPI has scored just four goals during the 12-game stretch.

NATIONALLY RANKED: Eleventh-ranked William Smith is the lone Liberty League school is currently ranked in the national top 25, acording to the latest NSCAA coaches poll.

THE CAPTAINS: Seniors Taylor Korytko, Dana Sailor and Kerry White will lead the Engineers on the field for the 2014 season ... This is the second season wearing a captain's armband for Korytko.

BY POSITION: The Engineers roster consists of two goaltenders, nine defenders, five midfielders, 10 forwards and two players who play multiple positions.

BY CLASS: The team is made up of 10 freshmen, four sophomores, six juniors, seven seniors and a graduate student.

RENSSELAER'S COACHES: The Engineers are led by first-year head coach Greg Cathell ... He is a 2006 graduate of Maryland Eastern Shore ... Cathell is assisted by Rebecca Lee and Erika Van Zandt.
