ONEONTA FALLS TO SKIDMORE: Oneonta controlled the majority of first half action with domination in shots (five to one) and corners (seven to none) forcing starting Skidmore keeper Madison Plummer to be aggressive and come out of the net to challenge the ball ... The pressure paid off in the 32nd minute when Plummer was called for a foul in the box after she took down senior Sarah Glowa, who was breaking away from the defense, forcing a penalty kick ... Taylor Messina, stepped and finished from the spot for the hosts and they held the 1-0 advantage through halftime ... Early second half action brought a continuation of the possession battle; the two teams swapped fouls for the first third of the stanza before the Thoroughbreds knotted the game at one in the 72nd minute ... From there, the Red Dragons were not able to recover as Skidmore tacked on the game-winner in the 83rd minute.
