TROY, N.Y. – Senior

With the win, the Engineers improve to 4-5-1 overall (2-1-1 ECAC Hockey), while the Golden Knights drop to 10-1-2 (1-1-2 ECAC Hockey).

Amanda Kimmerle (Anoka, MN/Anoka High School) picked up the secondary assist on the power play tally.
The Golden Knights pulled sophomore Shea Tiley (Owen Sound, ON/KW Rangers) with under a minute to play, but couldn't get a second puck past RPI freshman netminder
Lovisa Selander (Sollentuna, Sweden/SDE Riksserien) and the Engineers were able to hold on for the victory.
Clarkson opened the scoring at 16:30 of the opening period, when junior Cayley Mercer (Exeter, ON/Bluewater Jr. Hawks) redirected a shot by senior Olivia Howe (Moose Jaw, SK/Notre Dame Hounds) past Selander from the bottom of the right circle. Sophomore Amanda Titus (Stittsville, ON/Ottawa Senators) also picked up an assist on Mercer's team-leading 12th goal of the year.
Rensselaer pulled even at 1-1 midway through the second period on the first goal of the season by junior
Lindsey Hylwa (Cary, NC/Gilmore Academy). She tipped a shot from the top of the right circle by Mankey, between Tiley and the right post. Freshman
Josefine Hansen (Copenhagen, Denmark/Shattuck St. Mary's) earned her first collegiate assist on the play.
