SENIOR DAY!: RPI Athletics and the women's basketball team celebrates its two seniors today ... Congratulations to Jarrett Boeglin and Josh Dugas ... The Class of 2015!

FINAL GAME: The Engineers conclude their 2014-15 season with today's game against Bard College (4pm).

RENSSELAER DOWNS VASSAR: Rensselaer hit five free throws and forced a pair of turnovers in the final two minutes in holding on to top Vassar, 52-47, on Friday evening ... RPI was led by four triples from senior Josh Dugas, who tallied a game-high 17 points ... Tied 45-45, Vassar had a chance to take the lead after a steal from Curtis Smith with 1:57 to play in regulation ... A turnover on the other end gave the ball right back to the Engineers, and they capitalized when a Dugas jumper in the paint put the visitors ahead, 47-45 ... After a Vassar timeout, a three pointer from Erikson Wasyl went off the iron, but senior Luka Ladan gave Vassar another chance with under a minute to play ... However, another turnover gave RPI the ball ... Dugas hit one of two from the stripe to extend the lead to 48-45 ... Two more freebies from Dugas gave the Engineers a five-point lead and they were able to hold on for the win ... RPI got 10 points and five rebounds from Chase Almond ... Both Wasyl and Curtis notched 14 points for the Brewers, but it was not enough as VC ends the season 7-18 and 3-13.

PACING THE ENGINEERS: Four RPI players average in double-figures in scoring, including junior Chase Almond and senior captain Josh Dugas, who are both averaging 12.8 points per game ... Juniors Brian Hatcher (11.2 ppg) and Tyler Gendron (10.6 ppg) round out the top four ... Almond hauls in a team-high 8.0 rebounds per contest, while Dugas dishes out a club-best 2.8 assists per game ... RPI has three players shooting better than 35% from beyond the arc, including sophomore Jonathan Luster (43.2%), Hatcher (37.3%) and Dugas (38.9%).

DUGAS NAMED TO HONOR ROLL: Senior captain Josh Dugas averaged a team-high 15.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in two games last week, earning a spot on the Liberty League's Weekly Honor Roll ... He also notched six assists, three steals and a block in an average of 30.0 minutes per game.

RAPTORS LEADERS: Freshman DeVahnte Mosley leads Bard in scoring at 11.9 points per game ... Senior Siondueh Burnette is second at 9.9 points per contest ... Sophomore Alex Fabean-Scotch rounds out the top three scorers at 9.4 points per game.

LIBERTY LEAGUE LEADERS: The Engineers are third in the Liberty Liberty in both assist-to-turnover ratio (1.21/1) and assists per game (12.13) ... In conference games, senior Josh Dugas is ninth in points per game (13.6), while junior Chase Almond is second in field goal percentage (54.4%) ... Bard freshman DeVahnte Mosley is second in the league in free throw percentage (81.7%).

BARD DOWNS VASSAR: Down a point at halftime on Wednesday night to rival Vassar, the Raptors began the second half on an 18-0 run en route to an 88-60 victory ... A back and forth opening 20 minutes saw the Brewers take a 42-41 at the break ... Curtis Smith hit a jumper to start the second half, and Vassar led, 44-41 ... Siondueh Burnette scored six of the first eight points in the 18-0 run ... Vassar trimmed the deficit to 10 with 9:20 to go but never got closer ... Bard's lead ballooned to 30 in the final minute ... The Raptors out-rebounded Vassar, 29-14, shot 64 percent from the field and made 12 of 19 three-pointers ... Burnette finished with 19 points and seven rebounds ... Harry Johnson added 17 points including 5 for 5 shooting from beyond the arc, and DeVahnte Mosley added 13 points ... Pat Lichtenstein scored six points including a three-pointer.

JANUARY 16, 2015: Junior Chase Almond scored 21 points on 9 of 11 shooting, as Rensselaer led from start to finish in a 67-54 victory over Bard ... RPI jumped out to a 9-2 lead early lead, before the Rators drew even ... The Engineers made 52 percent of their shots from the field in the first half and led, 33-24, at the break ... Bard trimmed the halftime lead to five early in the second, but RPI responded and pulled away ... The lead grew as large as 18 in the final minutes ... RPI shot 50% for the gamet to Bard's 40% ... Tyler Gendron added 11, and the Engineers handed out 16 assists, led by Nate Kane with four ... Bard got 18 points and six rebounds from freshman DeVahnte Mosley.
