#RPIMS Earns Comeback Victory

Engineers net two second half goals to top Stockton, 2-1

GALLOWAY, N.J. – Senior captain Paul Lentine scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 66th minute to give the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Stockton University, in the opening game of the Seashore Classic. With the win, the Engineers remain unbeaten at 4-0, while the Ospreys drop to 3-1.

Lentine (Penfield, NY/Penfield) scored his second goal in as many contests, just eight minutes after the Engineers had tied the game at 1-1. Sophomore Steven Collins (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Regional) picked the assist on the game-winning tally.

Rensselaer drew even in the 58th minute on freshman Trevor McCaughey's (Murrieta, CA/Murrieta Valley) first collegiate goal.
