Rensselaer hosts Union on Tuesday night in its final regular season home game of the 2016 season. The Engineers and Dutchwomen are scheduled for a 7:30pm kick.
RPI SWEEPS NORTH COUNTRY TRIP
For the third time in three tries the Engineers took all six points from their voyage north to Potsdam and Canton. RPI received a 24th minute goal from
Kensey Waterman on Friday in a 1-0 win over the Golden Knights, before freshman
Jacqui Richard potted a 100th minute OT-winner on Saturday against the Saints.
LEAGUE LEADERS
Freshman
Joey Lyons leads the Liberty League in shutouts per game (.571) and saves (58) and is second in both goals against average (0.43) and save percentage (.906). Classmate
Emily Kaplan is seventh in goals (6).
2015 VS. UNION
Jessica Farland scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 Dutchwomen win in Schenectady on October 7, 2015.
Tori Riopelle made four saves for the Engineers, who were outshot, 11-9.
FOR THE DUTCHWOMEN
Union is paced offensively by Katie Monahan, who has five goals and three assists for 13 points. Sydny Keane (3 goals, 3 assists) has nine points, while Nicole Sturno (1 goal, 4 assists) and Aly Leahy (1 goal, 4 assists) have six points apiece.
