CASTINE, Maine - Colby College outscored Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) 41-23 in the second half, to take a 59-44 victory in the second game of the Pepsi Mariner Classic hosted by Maine Maritime Academy, on Friday night.
 
Emily Davis tallied a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds, while also adding two steals and an assist to lead Colby College, while teammate Haley Driscoll added 12 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists.
 
Elizabeth Eckhardt led the Engineers with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists, and a steal and teammate Ines Ortea added eight points, one rebound and a steal.
 
The Mules improve to 1-0 on the season and will take on Maine Maritime Academy tomorrow in the Championship game at 3pm, while RPI falls to 1-1 and will take on UMaine-Presque Isle tomorrow at 1p.m., in the consolation game.
