GAMEDAY (Dec. 1, 2016): The Engineers (3-4) look to halt a three-game losing streak as they host Middlebury (3-0) in a non-league game.

RPI TO DATE: Rensselaer got off to a strong start with a 77-45 win over Southern Vermont before traveling to Maine Maritime for a tournament ... RPI lost to Colby in the first round (59-44) before defeating Maine, Presque Isle in the consolation game (88-46) ... The Engineers then knocked off area-rival Sage (85-79) before playing in the WPI Thanksgiving Tournament.

BREAKDOWN: Rensselaer is 2-1 at home with all three games being played on Tuesday nights ... RPI is 0-1 in true road games and 1-2 in contests played on neutral courts.

GAME 5:  Junior Ama Biney totaled a career-high 28 points as WPI forged a 73-40 victory over RPI in the WPI Thanksgiving Classic opener ... Elizabeth Eckhardt tallied 11 points and Sam Krumbhaar and LaKissa Martin each contributed six for RPI ... Eckhardt, Krumbhaar and Martin are all sophomores.

GAME 6: Springfield senior Ava Adamopoulos led all student-athletes with 25 points as the Pride held off Rensselaer, 85-79 at WPI ... With the Pride up by 21 points to open the fourth quarter, the Engineers went on a 10-0 run to pull closer, but Rensselaer could not get the lead back ... Shaina Iton posted a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds to go with 19 points from Sam Krumbhaar and 17 by LaKissa Martin.

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM: Sophomore forward Kate Goodell was selected to the All-Tournament Team of the WPI Thanksgiving Tournament ... She was Rensselaer's lone representative.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL: Sophomore Sam Krumbhaar was named to the Liberty League's Weekly Honor Roll after leading the Engineers in scoring with 42 points (14.0 avg) and steals with six in three games last week. She also had seven rebounds, two assists and four turnovers in 21.7 minutes per game 

GAME 7: Lydia Vital scored 20 points and Emily McPadden added 17 to lead Keene State to a 72-65 victory over RPI on Tuesday ... Rensselaer was led by junior Shaina Iton, who had a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds, along with two blocks and a steal ... LaKissa Martin finished with 14 points and four rebounds, Sam Krumbhaar had 12 points and Ines Ortea scored 11 points with five rebounds.

NO GOODELL: Junior Kate Goodell was sidelined on Tuesday against Keene State due to an injury.

THREE WINS TO START: Middlebury has defeated Wittenberg (62-53), Shenandoah (74-39) and Johnson St. (62-34) ... Games 1 and 2 were at Drew.
