GAMEDAY: Rensselaer continues its three-game home stand with a Liberty League contest against Skidmore ... RPI is also at East Campus Arena on Saturday against Union (2pm) in what will be its third game of the week.

LAST TIME OUT: On Tuesday against Bard, Rensselaer held the Raptors to just 27.1 percent shooting and caused 23 turnovers in winning, 49-40 ... The Engineers had 12 steals in the contest.

THIRD QUARTER PRESSURE: RPI held Bard to just four points in the third quarter on Tuesday night.

BOUCHER LEADS: Senior Ellen Boucher led the Engineers in scoring against the Raptors, becoming the seventh player to do so this season ... Freshman Sam Krumbhaar has done so a team-high seven times, while senior Ashley Clough has led the team four times ... Elizabeth Eckhardt and Shaina Iton have been the leading scorer twice each.

ON THE GLASS: Sophomore Shaina Iton had 11 rebounds on Tuesday and has now been RPI's leading rebounder 15 times, including each of the last seven contests ... Others who have done so on multiple occasions are seniors Ashley Clough and Bailei Tetrault, who have done so twice each.

SKIDMORE TO DATE: The Thoroughbreds have been idle since February 6 when they won a non-league game at Sage, 90-78 ... It was their second straight win after two consecutive losses ... Throughout the season, Skidmore has now won more than three straight games, nor has it lost in excess of three games consecutively.

FIRST MEETING: On January 23 in Saratoga Springs, RPI put three student-athletes in double figures in points but it was not enough as the Engineers lost to Skidmore, 77-66 ... The Thoroughbreds were led by 33 points and 15 rebounds from Kelly Donnelly ... The game was close through the first three quarters as neither team led by more than a point at the end of any of them ... Skidmore took control in the fourth, however, outscoring the Engineers, 27-17, including 12 of the first 14 points - 10 coming from Donnelly - in the first 6:30 for a 63-51 lead ... RPI, which got the deficit to five points with 1:23 to play, got 15 points from Clough, 13 from Sam Krumbhaar and 11 from Elizabeth Eckhardt.

LAST YEAR: On January 10, 2015, in Troy, Skidmore scored 29 of the game's first 32 points, including 13 in a row to start the game, and went on to a 64-41 victory ... Migle Vilunaite paced Skidmore with 12 points, while Shaina Iton had 12 points and 10 rebounds for RPI ... In the rematch on February 13, Ashley Clough and Amanda Lynch combined for 45 points to lead RPI to a 75-71 overtime win.
