GAMEDAY: Rensselaer plays its third game of the week, hosting Union College in a league contest ... RPI is going for its third consecutive victory to close out a three-game home stand. 

ALUMNAE WEEKEND: Welcome back to all the Rensselaer women's basketball alumnae who have returned to campus!

LAST NIGHT: In a Liberty League game with Skidmore, senior Ashley Clough scored 20 points and sophomore Shaina Iton had a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Engineers to a 71-64 victory ... The score was tied at 57-57 with 5:58 to play when Rensselaer took control with a 7-0 run over the next 2:34 of action ... Clough also had four rebounds, two assists and three blocked shots, while Iton blocked one shot ... Freshman Sam Krumbhaar had 11 points with four rebounds, an assist and two steals.

UNION OF LATE: The Dutchwomen have lost three straight games, including a 66-54 decision to Vassar on Friday ... Union was its hottest beginning in early December when it won seven of eight games into January ... Since then Union is 5-5.

FIRST MEETING: On January 8 in Schenectady, Abby Katz had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds and Amy Fisher scored 16 points as Union posted a 78-62 win over Rensselaer ... Erin Lyons produced a game-high five assists with a career-best 13 points and eight rebounds ... RPI was led by LaKissa Martin's 15 points and Ashley Clough, who had 14 points with three blocks for the Engineers, who shot 36% ... Elizabeth Eckhartdt had 11 points and Lauren Young had three steals.

JAN. 9, 2015: Ashley Clough scored 24 points and pulled down 12 rebounds - both game-highs - to lead RPI to a 75-54 win over Union ... Clough made 10 of 18 shots from the field, including three three-pointers ... Amanda Lynch scored 13 points with five rebounds and Bailei Tetrault added 10 points with three assists and two steals ... Shaina Iton finished with eight points and 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks ... The Dutchwomen were led by Kate Thompson, who had 15 points and seven rebounds, along with two assists, two blocks and steal ... Abby Katz had a team-high eight rebounds, including five offensive, with four points.

JAN. 24, 2015: Kate Thompson scored a game-high 16 points and Amy Fisher tallied 14 as Union defeated Rensselaer, 64-52 in Schenectady ... Amanda Lynch scored a team-high 15 to lead RPI, while Ashley Clough scored 11 and Shaina Iton had eight rebounds ... Jenni Barra had 11 points and Abby Katz had a team-best eight rebounds for Union.
