GAMEDAY: It's the season finale for the Engineers, who host league foe Vassar College.

SENIOR DAY: Sunday marks the final games for seniors Ellen Boucher, Ashley Clough and Bailei Tetrault - each of whom has been integral to Rensselaer basketball throughout their careers.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Rensselaer ran out to a 23-6 first-quarter lead en route to a 65-49 victory at Bard ... RPI came out firing, shooting 43 percent in the first half, including 4-for-5 from beyond the three-point line. The Engineers led by 17 after one quarter, and although Bard cut it to eight in the second quarter, the lead was 32-21 at halftime ... Freshman Sam Krumbhaar finished with 16 points, five rebounds and two steals ... Shaina Iton added 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists ... RPI shot 47 percent from the field in the game, while holding Bard to 27 percent.

BALANCED ATTACK: Ten different players scored at least a point for the Engineers on Friday night at Bard.

FIRST MEETING: Vassar College scored 21 points in the fourth quarter while holding Rensselaer to nine and the Brewers defeated the Engineers 72-58 on January 12 ... Ariella Rosenthal had a game-high 23 points for Vassar, while Elizabeth Eckhardt's 19 points led RPI ... The game was close through the first three quarters, with Rensselaer leading by four points (18-14) after the first quarter and Vassar holding a two-point edge (31-29) at the half.
