FRIDAY NIGHT: Rensselaer ran out to a 23-6 first-quarter lead en route to a 65-49 victory at Bard ... RPI came out firing, shooting 43 percent in the first half, including 4-for-5 from beyond the three-point line. The Engineers led by 17 after one quarter, and although Bard cut it to eight in the second quarter, the lead was 32-21 at halftime ... Freshman
