CLERMONT, Fla. - Four different players scored two goals as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse team to a 10-8 victory over Endicott College on Monday at the National Training Center. With the win, the Engineers improve to 3-1 on the season, while the Gulls drop to 0-4.
Freshman Maddie Aslansan and sophomore
Morgan Doyle scored less than two minutes into the game to give the Engineers an early 2-0 lead.
Endicott answered with a pair of their own at 5:29 and 6:48 to tie the game at 2-2. Emily Whitney scored the first and assisted on the second.

Erin DeLucca then scored to make it 4-2, before Aslansan set up classmate
Abbey Salvon for a 5-2 advantage with 12:22 remaining in the first half.
Whitney and Erin McCarthy brought Endicott within 5-4 as each scored in the final nine minutes of the opening stanza.
Ali Campbell opened the second half with a goal that tied the game at 5-5.
The Engineers answered with two tallies, less than a minute apart, to go back on top, 7-5.
Endicott then scored three of the next four goals to draw even once again (8-8). Whitney was once again involved offensively, netting the tying marker.

Sophie Hager then took over, scoring once with 4:24 left regain the lead, before adding an insurance goal with under a minute to go.
Freshman netminder
Aleena Milinski (3-0) made three saves for the win, while Maura Grady had seven stops at the other end of the field.
The Engineers return to action on Thursday against Westfield State (9am), while Endicott takes on Trinity (Conn.) on Thursday (9am).
