Matt Hall scored four first half goals and
Breanainn McNeally tallied three goals and an assist to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse team to its sixth consecutive win, a 16-6 victory over Oneonta in a non-league game at East Campus Stadium.

NOTEWORTHY
- RPI jumped out to a 1-0 lead at 12:15 of the first half when senior defenseman John Phillips scored from midfield into a cage vacated by a riding goalie ... The goal was the first of the year for the captain.
- Hall scored his first of the game 2:09 later for a 2-0 lead
- Oneonta evened the score at 2-2 with a man-up goal by Jimmy Kickel at 8:17 and an even strength marker from John Shea 4:08 later.
- The Engineers took control out of the stick of Hall, who scored the next three goals ... He scored two unassisted goals just 28 seconds apart for a 4-2 lead and then tallied on a man-up at 12:35 of the second for a three-goal margin ... Hall, who had eight shots in the half (6 on goal) now has 19 goals on the season, which is three more than he scored as a sophomore.
- Connor Coyle notched his 14th of the season for the Red Dragons just over a minute later, but McNeally and Patrick Finn connected on a bang-bang play from behind the cage to the front for a 6-3 margin with 4:27 left in the half.
- Following unassisted goals from Jake Weidner and Matthew Gilman, who scored on a bouncer coming out of a timeout, JT Kelly found McNeally crossing in front of the goal and he flipped the ball behind his back with 38 seconds remaining.
- The Engineers outscored Oneonta 5-1 in the second quarter for a 9-3 lead at halftime ... Six of RPI's nine goals in the first half were unassisted.
- Rensselaer was 11 for 11 on clears in the first half ... Oneonta was 8 of 10 ... Both teams won 7 of 14 faceoffs ... Faceoff specialist Troy Statsko had five ground balls for the Red Dragons.
- Gilman and McNeally scored the first two goals of the second half for an 11-3 lead ... McNeally's marker, which was set up by Finn, was his team-leading 33rd of the season ... He entered the game leading the Liberty League in goals per game (3.75).
- Oneonta's Daniel King scored two of the game's next three goals and the visitors trailed 12-5 after three quarters.
- RPI built on its lead with four goals in the fourth quarter, by four different players, while Kickel scored his second of the contest for the Red Dragons ... Senior Ryan Brisson scored his second of the season just 29 seconds after Kickel tallied.
