ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Nine different players found the back of the net for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse team, which defeated Bard College, 13-2, on Saturday. With the win, the Engineers improved to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the Liberty League, while the Raptors fall to 3-6 and 0-3.
 
RPI scored five goals in the first 10 minutes and led 8-0 at halftime. Senior 
Mackenzie O'Neil tallied the first three goals, before freshman 
Maddy Aslansan made it 5-0.
Sophomore 
Morgan Doyle picked up two tallies, followed by one each from junior 
Sophie Hager and freshman Laura Guiry, who potted her first collegiate goal to close out the half.
 
The Engineers limited Bard to just seven successful clears on 15 attempts, while being good on 11-of-12 clears themselves. Bard had a 9-8 edge in draw controls, including a 7-1 advantage in the second half.
 
Seven RPI players recorded at least two points, including O'Neil, who had a team-best four points. Doyle and junior 
Carly Kirchner each had a pair of goals. Freshman goalie 
Rebecca Wilen earned the win, making three saves in the opening 20:22. Senior 
Heather MacLauchlan played the next 22:17, before freshman 
Aleena Milinski had two stops over the final 17:21.
RPI is back in action next Friday, when it visits Skidmore (7pm). Bard travels to Potsdam to face Clarkson on Friday (4pm).
