LAST SEASON: Mikaela DiBello scored the game winner in overtime to lift Rensselaer to a 2-1 victory over Union at Frank Bailey Field ... DiBello scored both goals ... On the winner, she Just 47 seconds into the overtime, DiBello intercepted a pass and dribbled in around Union's goalkeeper, scoring from close in on the right side just 47 seconds into the extra frame ... Laura Aptowitz made 11 saves for the Dutchwomen while Rachel Kaufman stopped eight for the Engineers, who had a 19-17 shot advantage ... Union had seven corners to RPI's four ... DiBello had a game-high seven shots, six on cage ... Hannah Christian scored for the Dutchwomen.

LAST TIME OUT: RPI's most recent game was on Sunday when the Engineers hosted No. 16 Skidmore ... Rensselaer fell to the Thoroughbreds, 3-1 ... Elizabeth Coughlin made eight saves and three different players scored for Skidmore, which got on the scoreboard just 3:35 into the contest ... The Thoroughbreds made it 2-0 before halftime ... Rensselaer junior Mikaela DiBello cut the deficit to one at 41:57 but Skidmore got the tally back just over six minutes later ... Coughlin made four saves in both halves and Rachel Kaufman stopped two shots for RPI ... Rensselaer finished with more shots (16-7) and penalty corners (11-7).

LAST FRIDAY: RPI traveled to St. Lawrence for a game on Friday afternoon and the Engineers came back with a 3-2 victory ... Megan Jones and Mikaela DiBello had a goal and an assist each and sophomore Nessa Costa scored the tie-breaking goal in the second half for the win ... DiBello, a junior, set up the game-winner, finding Costa with a cross from the right side of the field, and Costa redirected the pass inside the left post in the 63rd minute ... Jones scored the first goal of the game for the Engineers, taking a pass from Sydney Luke right in front of the Saints' net and sending a backhand shot into the left side in the 10th minute ... Jones assisted on RPI's second goal, inserting to DiBello on a penalty corner ... DiBello blasted her shot from the top of the circle into the left side of the net ... RPI outshot the Saints 21-12 and had a 10-6 edge on penalty corners ... Rachel Kaufman had seven stops in the win ... Sophie Cardenali made eight saves for the Saints.

COMMON OPPONENTS: Rensselaer and Union have played six of the same opponents ... The both fell to Skidmore, William Smith and Rochester ... RPI defeated St. Lawrence ... Union beat Castleton and Hartwick.

UNION TO DATE: The Dutchwomen began the season with a win over Castleton (2-1), but lost their next three games ... A pair of wins evened Union's record and it has gone 3-4 over the last seven ... The Dutchwomen conclude with three straight home games.
