Engineers take on Golden Knights in regular season home finale

SENIOR DAY!
The Engineers will honor their 10 members of the Class of 2018 prior to Saturday's regular season finale against Clarkson at East Campus Stadium (2pm).

SERIES HISTORY
Rensselaer owns a 20-7-4 lead in the all-time series with Clarkson, dating back to October 5, 1985 – a 0-0 draw in Troy. The Engineers are 11-2-3 against the Golden Knights at home and 18-3-3 in Liberty League play. RPI is currently on a seven-game unbeaten streak (6-0-1) with Clarkson's last victory coming on October 24, 2009 – a 1-0 win on Renwyck Field.

LAST TIME VS. CLARKSON
The Engineers got a 24th minute goal from Kensey Waterman in defeating Clarkson, 1-0, in Potsdam on October 14, 2016. The Golden Knights outshot RPI, 13-4 in the game, with Joey Lyons stopping all six shots she has faced. 

ENGINEERS EDGED AT VASSAR
RPI dropped a Liberty League match to the Brewers in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, 1-0. Amanda McFarland scored in the 52nd minute and Vassar held on, despite getting outshot 16-13. Joey Lyons finished with four saves for the Engineers.

RPI LEADERS
Junior Emily Dunn (3 goals, 1 assist) and sophomore Emily Kaplan (2 goals, 3 assists) are tied for the team lead with seven points apiece. Seniors Stephanie May (2 goals, 2 assists), Bethany Hanson (2 goals, 2 assist) and Dali Alarian (2 goals, 2 assists) all have six points.

GOALKEEPING
Sophomore Joey Lyons (5-6-1) has a 1.13 goals against average and a. 797 save percentage, while senior Tori Riopelle (2-1-0) has a 0.50 goals against average and an .889 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Clarkson is led offensively by Camryn Careccia (8 goals, 1 assist) with 17 points, while Madison Kather (4 goals, 3 assists) has 11. Elyse Green has started all 16 games between the sticks, going 8-5-3 with a 1.18 GAA and an .804 SV%.

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
Rensselaer is 15-4-5 in its last 244 matches at East Campus Stadium, including 6-2-0 last year and a 6-2-0 mark so far this season.
