SENIOR DAY!
The Engineers will honor their eight members of the Class of 2018 prior to Saturday's Liberty League contest against Union College. Kick-off is scheduled for 12pm at East Campus Stadium.
ALL-TIME VS. THE DUTCHMEN
Rensselaer leads the all-time series 34-29-10 over Union. The inaugural game was played on October 15, 1948 - a 5-0 Engineers victory in Troy. RPI and Union have been better away from home, historically, with the Dutchmen going 17-13-6 in Troy and the Engineers going 21-12-4 in Schenectady.
RECENTLY
Rensselaer is riding an eight-game unbeaten streak, posting a 3-0-5 record since 2010. The run includes five straight clean sheets from 2010 to 2014, including a 0-0 draw in the 2010 Liberty League Semifinals that the Engineers took on penalties, 5-4.
2016 VS. UNION
Ethan Strauss scored in the first half and
Devon Baughen tallied in the second as the Engineers and Dutchmen played to a 1-1 draw in Schenectady on October 5, 2016. The tightly contested match saw the Dutchmen finish with a narrow 12-11 edge in shots.
Ryan Nealon had three saves for RPI.
RENSSELAER EDGED AT SLU
Jethro Dede scored the game's only goal in the 42nd minute to send the homestanding Saints past Rensselaer, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon. St. Lawrence outshot RPI, 16-6, including 5-2 on goal.
Matt LaBranche made four saves for the Engineers.

Sophomore
Austin Betterly leads the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists. Classmate
Dylan Confair (2 goals, 4 assists) is second with eight points, while three players have six, including freshman center back
Trevor Bisson (3 goals).
FOR UNION
Salvador Lopez Jr. has 11 points on four goals and three assists for the Dutchmen. Ethan Strauss (3 goals) is right behind him with six points, while three others have four. John Weitzman has played every minute in goal for Union and is 8-2-1 with a 0.61 goals against average and an .877 save percentage, with seven shutouts.
DUTCHMEN TO SUNY POY
Kienan Smith scored in the 27th minute to lead Union to a 1-0 non-conference win on Tuesday in Marcy, NY. The Dutchmen outshot the Wildcats, 7-6, while earning five corners to SUNY Poly's three.
