MEET TIME (NOVEMBER 11, 2017): The Engineers are back at Robison Pool with a dual meet against the Brewers of Vassar College.

TWO MEET WEEKEND: Rensselaer is right back in action on Sunday when it travels to Oneonta to face Hartwick College ... Diving is scheduled to begin at 10am and swimming at 1pm.

RPI TO DATE: The Engineers are a combined 6-1 with sweeps of RIT and Ithaca and a split against WPI ... The women won in Worcester, while also defeating Simmons, but the men lost to the Engineers.

STREAK SNAPPED: For the first time in its last 20 meets, the Rensselaer men's swimming & diving team dropped a head-to-head dual meet, falling at No. 18 WPI, 171-129, last Saturday ... Rensselaer had won 19 consecutive meets dating back to January 16, 2015 ... The Engineers were undefeated in 2017-18 (school record 8-0) and 2016-17 (7-0). 

DUAL RANKINGS: The CollegeSwimming Dual Meet and Championship Top Fifty results were announced on Tuesday and both RPI teams are listed ... The Engineers' women are 17th with 558.15 points and the men are 26th with 564.05 points ... Kenyon (662.25) leads the women and Denison is first among the men (665.30).

WOMEN LAST WEEKEND: Rensselaer won 14 of 16 events as the No. 23 Engineers defeated both WPI, 204-96, and Simmons, 225-75, in head-to-head dual meets ... Rensselaer boasted seven student-athletes with multiple victories, led by Jessica Sauve, who won three individual events and a relay ... Amanda Wang won two individual events and two relays and Shanny Lin was victorious three times ... Jessica Kugelman won from both diving boards, including a second-cut qualifier for the NCAA Regional Meet. 

HONORED: The Liberty League weekly women's swimming & diving award winners included RPI's Jessica Sauve and Jessica Kugelman, who were named the Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively ... Against WPI and Simmons, Sauve swam the anchor leg on the victorious 400 medley relay team (4:04.27) before capturing the 200 freestyle (1:56.54), the 200 breaststroke (2:29.18) and the 200 individual medley (2:13.88) ... Kugelman won from both boards ... She was first (255.38) from 1-meter and then victorious from 3-meters (268.87).

RPI VS. VASSAR LAST YEAR: Both teams eclipsed 180 points and the Engineers swept Vassar, 183-105 and 188-105 ... The men saw John Alberta, Richard Dong and Alex Chused, a diver, all win multiple individual events ... Jessica Kugelman also won from both diving boards ... She was one of four Engineers to capture multiple individual events ... Jessica Sauve won the 200 free and 50 free, Amanda Wang won the 100 backstroke and 200 back and Siena Sara was first in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.

VASSAR TO DATE: The Brewers women are off to a 3-0 start, having defeated Brandeis, Bard and Skidmore ... The men are 2-1 with wins over Bard and Skidmore and a season-opening loss to Brandeis.

$1 BILLION CAMPAIGN: On October 13, Rensselaer President Shirley Ann Jackson announced the launch of a capital campaign designed to position Rensselaer for its third century of leadership in research and education: "Transformative: Campaign for Global Change".
