GAMEDAY: Rensselaer (0-4) plays its second straight game at Harkness Field with another non-league contest, this one against Utica College (4-0).

LEAGUE SLATE: The Engineers play at Castleton on September 20 and then they play two Liberty League contests ... Five straight games from October 7 through October 22 are conference matchups.

GAME 1 (Sept. 1):  Hartwick scored three times after RPI's Taylor Clink scored on a penalty stroke and the Hawks held off the Engineers, 3-2, despite a late goal by Megan Jones and 16 penalty corners for Rensselaer.

GAME 2 (Sept. 3): Mount Holyoke scored just 2:23 into the game and goalie Morgan Turner made it stand up with three saves in a 2-0 Lyons victory ... Rachel Kaufman stopped eight shots for Rensselaer, which had six corners.

GAME 3 (Sept. 6): No. 15 Hamilton got a hat trick from Michaela Giuttari and the Continentals went on to a 7-2 win ... Taylor Clink and Mekayla Wakeman scored for Rensselaer ... Rachel Kaufman (6 saves) and Kayla Bell (7) combined for 13 saves.

GAME 4 (Sept. 9): Freshman Taylor Farrin made nine saves to back Endicott to a 2-1 victory over RPI ... The Gulls got out to a lead just seven minutes into the game, but RPI's Taylor Clink tied the score just under five minutes later ... Endicott knotted the game-winner six minutes before half and held on to the victory ... Kayla Bell, making her first start in goal, made 10 saves for the Engineers.

DEFENSIVE SAVES: Five different RPI players have at least one defensive save, led by Emma Lewis, who has two ... The others are Mekayla Wakeman, Christina Hanos, Lauren Hiltz and Mac Reininger.

SEASON HIGHS: Rensselaer's season high for  shots is 24 and shots on goal is 11 ... Both milestones were reached in the first game of the year, a 3-2 loss to Hartwick ... The most shots allowed (30) and shots on goal (22) came at Hamilton in the third game, a 7-2 defeat.

IN 2016: Rensselaer won four of its final five games, including each of its last three, to finished with a 10-7 overall record ... The late season wins came against Union (2-1 OT), Vassar (1-0), New Paltz (4-2) and Oneonta (2-1) ... The lone loss was to Middlebury (2-0).
