Engineers host Bard for a 3pm kick-off

SERIES HISTORY
Rensselaer is unbeaten and untied against Bard, going 8-0 since the inaugural meeting on September 10, 2008 – a 6-0 Engineers victory on Renwyck Field. RPI is 4-0 at home against the Raptors and 6-0 in Liberty League play.

LAST TIME VS. BARD
The Engineers received goals from Cori Winslow and Ali Zumpetta before holding on for a 2-1 victory over the Raptors on October 22, 2016 in Annadale-on-Hudson. Joey Lyons had four saves for RPI, which held a 23-12 shot advantage.

ENGINEERS DRAW AT CORTLAND
Despite registering 27 shots, including nine in overtime, Rensselaer settled for a 0-0 draw at Cortland last Saturday. Senior Stephanie May and sophomore Jacqui Richard had six shots apiece, while Joey Lyons made two saves for the clean sheet.

RPI LEADERS
Six different players have scored single goals for the Engineers, including senior center back Bethany Hanson and sophomore Jeanine Moreau. Junior Katya Kradinova has a team-high two assists.

GOALKEEPING
Sophomore Joey Lyons (2-1-1) has a 0.54 goals against average and an .818 save percentage, while senior Tori Riopelle (1-1-0) has a 0.80 goals against average and an .875 save percentage.

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
Rensselaer is 11-3-5 in its last 19 matches at East Campus Stadium, including 6-2-0 last year. Its two losses came to No. 1 William Smith (1-0) and Vassar (2-1).

SCOUTING THE RAPTORS
Bard (5-1) has won two straight games heading into conference play, with its lone loss come at Mount Saint Mary (3-1). Avalon Qian (8 goals, 1 assist) has a team-best 17 points, while Dylan McDonald (2 goals, 2 assists) is second with six. Guiliana Scanni (2 goals, 1 assist) rounds out the top three with five points.

The Engineers have a quick turnaround, hosting St. Lawrence at ECAV Stadium tomorrow (1pm).
