ON TUESDAY: Junior Sam Krumbhaar scored 14 points, including eight in the fourth quarter, to help RPI to a come-from-behind victory over William Smith, 59-53 ... After being held to just 17 points in the first half, the Herons used 23 points in the third quarter to erase a 24-17 deficit for a 40-35 lead after 30 minutes ... RPI scored 10 of the first 13 points of the fourth to regain the lead ... Krumbhaar had a pair of free throws and a three-point basket to tie the game at 43-43 before another trey made it a 48-45 advantage midway through the frame ... STATISTICAL LEADERS: Junior Elizabeth Eckhardt had a team-high 15 points, including nine in the first half on three three-pointers, to pace RPI against William Smith ... Sam Krumbhaar had 14 points and Ines Ortea scored 10 ... Sam O'Keefe added six assists and Shaina Iton pulled down seven rebounds ... LaKissa Martin had eight points and six rebounds ... For William Smith, Mia Morrison had game-highs of 18 points and nine rebounds.Â
VASSAR ON TUESDAY: The Brewers got back on track with a 63-46 win over Skidmore ... Sophie Nick powered the offense with 19 points and added eight rebounds ... Nicole Teta chipped in 15 points, while Isa Peczuh came off the bench and tallied 12 points ... Leading the rebounding category was senior Ariella Rosenthal, who grabbed 11 ... Kelly Donnelly had 16 points and 11 rebounds for Skidmore.
ALL-TIME AGAINST VASSAR: The Engineers are 30-15 against the Brewers all-time dating back to their first meeting in 1986 ... Vassar has won four of the previous five matchups against RPI, falling by two points 64-62 ... The Engineers are 15-7 in Troy against the Brewers.
LAST SEASON: RPI split the season series with Vassar, losing at home, 71-64, on January 17 and winning in Poughkeepsie, 64-62, on February 17.

Ariella Rosenthal had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead four Brewers in double digits in points ... Shaina Iton scored 17 points with 11 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Engineers, who got 18 points from Elizabeth Eckhardt.
FEBRUARY 17, 2017: In a game that saw 12 ties and 13 lead changes, RPI made the final shot when Sam Krumbhaar scored on a layup with 0.6 seconds remaining to defeat Vassar, 64-62 ... Krumbhaar, a guard, led the Engineers with a game-high 24 points ... Nicole Teta matched her career-best with 23 points, including a game-tying trey with four seconds remaining, for Vassar.
