Engineers host Bombers in Liberty League contest at ECAV

FAMILY WEEKEND SHOWDOWN
The Engineers host Ithaca College on Saturday in a critical Liberty League match at East Campus Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 4pm.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Bombers hold a 23-18-2 lead in the all-time series, which dates back to November 5, 1955 – a 9-0 RPI win in Troy. The Engineers are 11-8-1 at home and 7-14-1 on the road, with a 10-16 conference record, which includes the ICAC and EAA until the 1994 season.

ENGINEERS DOWN HARTWICK
Five different players scored, including the first collegiate tallies from Paul Silva and Shaye Sealy in a 5-0 victory over Hartwick College on Tuesday night at ECAV. Trevor Bisson netted his third goal of the season to open the scoring, while Sean Larkin and Tommaso Valagussa also found the scoresheet.

HOME SWEET HOME
The Engineers are 14-4-4 at home dating back to the start of the 2016 season. RPI is 5-16-2 on the road over that same stretch.

RPI LEADERS
Freshman Billy Chissoe (5 goals) as a team-high 10 points, while sophomore Michael Harten (2 goals, 4 assists) and junior Dillon Ashong (3 goals, 1 assist) have eight and seven points, respectively. All three of Ashong's tallies have come from the penalty spot (3 for 3).

GOALKEEPING
Junior Matt LaBranche is 5-4-1 with a 1.29 goals against average and a .659 save percentage, with one combined shutout. Freshman Luke Brezak (1-1-0) has a 1.13 goals against average and a .778 save percentage in five games (3 starts).

BREZAK HONORED
Freshman Luke Brezak earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday after posting a 1-1 record last week, with a 1.00 goals against average and a .778 save percentage. He shut out Hobart with six saves on Saturday.

SCOUTING THE BOMBERS
The 25th-ranked Bombers (10-1-3) are led offensively by Jonathan Kyriakidis (3 goals, 2 assists) with eight points. Nate Mansfield (3 goals, 1 assist) is right behind him with seven. Four players have six points, including Theo Scott (3 goals).

ITHACA GOALKEEPING
Max Lichtenstein (8-1-3) has a 0.63 goals against average and an .800 save percentage with seven shutouts.
