POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Vassar College scored two goals in each half off the sticks of four different players and the No. 6 Brewers defeated the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) field hockey team, 4-0, in Liberty League Semifinals contest. The Brewers improve to 17-1 and they advance to the conference final, which they will host on Saturday. The Engineers finish the campaign with a 6-12 mark.

Grace Amell and Cristina Lopez scored seven minutes apart in the first half and Emily Poehein and Stephanie Palma notched goals within a minute of each other early in the second for Vassar. Lopez also had an assist for the Brewers, who got one save from Liz Rotolo.

Senior Rachel Kaufman stopped nine shots for the Engineers, who got a defensive save from Taylor Clink.
