NON-LEAGUE WEEKEND
Rensselaer hosts Penn State University for a two-game series this weekend at the Houston Field House. It is the first meetings between the two schools. Puck drop is scheduled for 6pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday.
RPI SWEEPS WEEKEND
Lauren Severson scored the only goal and
Kira Bombay stopped all 18 shots she faced in a 1-0 win over Brown on Friday night. The Engineers then received a last minute goal from
Blake Orosz to top Yale, 2-1, on Saturday. Bombay had 29 saves in that contest, while
Sabrina Repaci registered a goal and an assist.
PENN STATE DROPS TWO
The Nittany Lions were swept in a two-game CHA series by Syracuse, falling 1-0 and 5-2. Shea Nelson and Izzy Heminger netted goals for Penn State, while Jenna Brenneman notched 28 saves in each contest, between the pipes.

Penn State is led by sophomore Natalie Heising, who has six goals and eight assists for 14 points in 12 games. Senior Kelsey Crow (8 assists) has eight points, while freshman Loli Fidler (2 goals, 5 assists) and junior Katie McMillan (4 goals, 2 assist) have seven and six points, respectively.
