GAMEDAY (Nov. 25, 2018): For the first time in program history, the Engineers welcome Wheaton College to Troy ... Rensselaer is 4-1 and the Lyons are 2-1.

FOURTH MEETING: This game is the fourth all-time meeting between RPI and Wheaton with the Lyons holding a 2-1 edge.

NOV. 25, 2008: Exactly 10 years ago, the Engineers traveled to Norton, Mass., and defeated Wheaton, 77-58 ... Whitney Coleman posted a game-high 17 points to lead RPI, which improved to 5-1 ... Wheaton, which fell to 3-2, saw Ida Kruse finish with a team-high 12 points.

JAN. 3, 2010: The Engineers and Lyons began the new year with a non-league game, which Wheaton won at home, 68-58 ... Three players reached double figures in points, paced by Jenny Champney's 20, as the Lyons (6-5) won their own New Year's Tournament ... The Engineers (4-6) were led by Allison Connor, who scored 21 points, and Whitney Coleman, who had 16 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

NOVEMBER 22, 2015: Kiley Shoemaker scored 26 points, including the 1000th of her career, to lead Wheaton (3-1) to a 73-60 win over RPI in the Williams College Tournament Classic ... Sam Krumbhaar scored 19 points and LaKissa Martin notched 17 for the Engineers (2-2) ... They both pulled down five rebounds. 

RPI THIS SEASON: Rensselaer has won four of its first five games for the first time since the 2012-13 season ... Three of its wins have come in Troy and one was on the road ... The Engineers' lone loss was at No. 1 Amherst last weekend.

THE LAST TIME: RPI last went 5-1 to open a season in 2008-09 ... The Engineers finished that year with a 18-7 record and a trip to the Liberty League Tournament. 

LAST TIME OUT: LaKissa Martin and Ines Ortea combined for 43 points as RPI defeated Sage 65-56 on Tuesday ... Rensselaer led 31-24 at the half and despite a pair of strong runs in the second half, held off the Gators ... Martin finished with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Ortea added 20 points with six rebounds and four assists.

WHEATON TO THIS POINT: The Lyons suffered a 60-53 loss at Roger Williams on November 13 before capturing its own Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Memorial Tournament with wins over Lesley (75-49) and Wentworth (76-48) on November 16-17 ... Abby Hamilton was named Tournament MVP after scoring nine points while picking up seven rebounds in the final ... Mikayla Pucci earned All-Tournament Team honors after leading Wheaton with a game-high 19 points while dishing off three assists against Wentworth.
