Engineers take on Brown and Yale at the Houston Field House on Friday (6pm) and Saturday (3pm)

FIRST HOME LEAGUE WEEKEND
Rensselaer hosts Brown and Yale at the Houston Field House this Friday and Saturday in its first home ECAC Hockey weekend of the 2018-19 season. The Engineers welcome the Bears to town on Friday (6pm), before wrapping up the weekend against the Bulldogs on Saturday (3pm).

ALL-TIME VS. BROWN
The Engineers are 15-6-3 all-time against the Bears, including 9-1-2 at the Houston Field House. The two teams tied the inagural meeting, 2-2, on January 6, 2007, in Troy.

RECENTLY
RPI owns an eight-game winning streak over the Bears (8-0) in which it has held a 32-15 scoring edge. Brown's last victory came on February 7, 2014 – a 3-0 win in Providence.

2018-19 VS. BROWN
The Engineers won 4-1 at home on October 28, 2017 and 2-1 in overtime on the road, on December 1, 2018, sweeping the season series. Jaimie Grigsby had a goal and an assist for the Engineers, while Lovisa Selander had 26 saves at the Houston Field House. Marisa Raspa netted the OT-winner in Providence.

RPI LEADERS
Juniors Blake Orosz (2 goals, 3 assists) and Sabrina Repaci (1 goal, 4 assists) are tied for the team lead with five points each. Seniors Jaimie Grigsby (3 goals, 1 assist) and Josefine Hansen (2 goals, 2 assists) have four points apiece.

IN NET
Senior captain Lovisa Selander is 2-5-2 with a 1.94 goals against average and a .946 save percentage as the starter in each of RPI's nine games. Classmate Kira Bombay stopped all 16 shots she faced in relief against No. 3 Clarkson.

FOUR NATIONS CUP
Senior captain Lovisa Selander is currently playing for the Swedish National Team at the Four Nations Cup in Saskatchewan. She made 45 saves in her international debut – a 6-1 loss to powerhouse Canada on Tuesday.

PACING THE BEARS
Brown is led offensively by junior Sena Hanson, who has six goals and three assists for nine points. Freshmen Lizzy Gross (5 goals, 3 assists) and Shay Maloney (1 goal, 7 assists) have eight points apiece, while three others have four points, including sophomore Kaitijane Blumberg (2 goals, 2 assists).

BROWN IN GOAL
Junior Calla Isaac has a 4-1-0 record as the starter in five of Brown's seven games. She carries a 2.65 goals against average and a .928 save percentage into the weekend, with one shutout. Freshman Hayley Kliczko (1-1-0) has a 4.50 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.
