Engineers look to finish fall semester strong against league foes

HOME AT LAST
Rensselaer returns to the Houston Field House after playing four straight road games, in which it went 1-2-1. The Engineers host 10th-ranked Princeton on Friday night (6pm) and Quinnipiac on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

RPI SPLITS LEAGUE ROAD TRIP
Juniors Sabrina Repaci and Blake Orosz each registered a goal and an assist to help the Engineers salvage an ECAC Hockey weekend split, edging Dartmouth (2-1) on Saturday, after falling at Harvard (2-0) on Friday. Lovisa Selander notched 50 saves on the weekend.

TOUGH AT HOME
RPI has a 3-1-3 record at the Houston Field House after starting the season unbeaten in five straight (3-0-2). The streak was the longest in school history to start a campaign.

RPI LEADERS
Entering the weekend, juniors Blake Orosz (5 goals, 6 assists) and Sabrina Repaci (3 goals, 7 assists) pace the team with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Senior Josefine Hansen (3 goals, 4 assists) has seven points, while classmate Jaimie Grigsby (3 goals, 2 assists) has five.

Senior captain Lovisa Selander is 3-7-4 with a 1.86 goals against average and a .946 save percentage as the starter in 14 games. Classmate Kira Bombay is 2-1-0 with a 1.60 goals against average and a .951 save percentage in five games (3 starts).

PACING THE TIGERS
The 10th-ranked Tigers are led by junior Carly Bullock (10 goals, 8 assists), who has 18 points. Freshman Sarah Fillier (3 goals, 12 assists) has 15 points in just eight games, while junior Claire Thompson (5 goals, 7 assists) has 12.

PRINCETON IN GOAL
Sophomore Rachel McQuigge has a 5-2-3 record in 10 starts. She carries a 1.86 goals against average and a .932 save percentage. Freshman Cassie Reale (2-0-0) has a 1.51 goals against average and a .921 save percentage in two games.

LEAGUE LEADERS
Princeton's Sarah Fillier leads ECAC Hockey in power play points (1-7-8) and rookie scoring (3-12-15), while Karlie Lund and Claire Thompson are atop the power play goal list with three apiece. Thompson is also second in defenseman scoring.

TOP GOALIES
Princeton's Rachel McQuigge and RPI Lovisa Selander are tied for third in the league with a 1.86 goals against average. Selander's .946 save percentage ranks second.
