Bard came out of the gate in the second half with a pair of goals 13 second apart to draw within 5-4. Ellin potted her 14th on the year, followed by classmate Dylan McDonald (Seattle, WA/Ballard), forcing an RPI timeout, just 6:07 into the frame.
Rensselaer came back with two goals of their own as Guiry and classmate

???????DiCaprio then picked up her 12th of the year with 10:16 to make it 7-5, but the Raptors did get any closer, as RPI finished things off on an 8-1 run, which included three extra-player tallies.
After being held scoreless in the first half, junior
Maddy Aslansan (Philadelphia, PA/Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) had a hand two quick goals to give RPI some breathing room at 9-5. After scoring an unassisted marker with 9:43 left, she set up classmate
Erin Goodwin (Kensington, CT/Berlin) for her eighth goal of the year, 55 seconds later.
Goodwin payed it forward by dishing off to Doyle to make it 10-5, before Doyle assisted on junior
