BRUNSWICK, Maine - The No. 1 doubles team of Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez and Andrew Imrie posted an 8-6 victory, but that was the only win for the No. 27 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), which lost to No. 3 Bowdoin College, 5-1, in an NCAA Regional Final at Bowdoin. RPI concludes the season - its best in school history - with a 16-4 record. The Polar Bears improve to 21-1 and advance to the Elite Eight.

Castillo-Sanchez and Imrie tied the match at 1-1 after the No. 2 McKinley Grimes and Zack Ebenfeld fell, 8-5. Freshmen Clay Thompson and Brian Niguidula also dropped a close match at No. 3, 8-5.

In singles, Bowdoin picked up victories at Nos. 5, 4 and 1. Each came in straight sets.
