The Engineers conclude their season-opening, five-game homestand on Saturday, when they welcome SUNY Cortland to East Campus Stadium for a 2pm kick-off.
SERIES HISTORY
RPI and Cortland have split the all-time series 1-1-2, including a scoreless draw last year in Cortland. The Engineers won the only previous meeting in Troy, 2-1, on September 20, 2014.
LAST TIME VS. CORTLAND
The Engineers and Red Dragons played to a scoreless draw in Cortland on September 16, 2017. RPI outshot the hosts, 27-10, on that day, including 9-2 on target.

ENGINEERS FALL TO SMITH
The Pioneers scored a goal in each half and overcame a 24-10 shot disparity in favor of Rensselaer to earn a 2-0 win at Renwyck Field. Peyton McBride assisted by both tallies for the visitors, while RPI freshman
Whitney Wisnom had a game-high five shots (4 on goal).

Joey Lyons (1-3-0) has a 1.25 goals against average and a .762 save percentage have played every minute between the sticks for the Engineers.
SCOUTING THE RED DRAGONS
Corltand (2-2-1) is paced offensively by Vanessa Romero, who has two goals and two assists for six points. Hillaria Hernandez (2 goals, 1 assist) is right behind with five points, while three players have two, including Brenna Conover, who has a goal. Abby Miller (2-1) has a 1.57 goals against average and a .667 save percentage, while Danika Svendsen (0-1-1) has a 1.35 goals against average and a .625 save percentage.
