GAMEDAY (Jan. 5, 2019): The Engineers take on Liberty League co-leader RIT in a Saturday matinee ... RPI enters with a 6-4 overall record and a 1-2 conference mark, while the Tigers are 8-1 and 3-0.

ALL-TIME AGAINST RIT: The Engineers are 18-13 against the Tigers, including a 9-7 mark in Troy ... There have been 28 conference contests with RPI holding a 16-12 advantage.

LAST 10: Rensselaer is 2-8 in its last 10 games with RIT.

LAST SEASON: The Tigers won both games against the Engineers ... They won 57-49 in Rochester on January 6 and 80-59 in Troy on January 26.

JANUARY 6, 2018: RIT outscored Rensselaer by 11 points in the fourth quarter to come from behind and defeat the Engineers, 57-49 ... RPI held a three-point lead (38-35) heading into the final frame, but RIT scored the first nine points for a 44-38 advantage three minutes into the fourth LaKissa Martin led the Engineers with 11 points ... Jessica Glaz had 17 for RIT.

JANUARY 26, 2018: RIT put four student-athletes in double figures in points with Amanda Olsen registering a double-double (10-10) and the Tigers defeated Rensselaer, 80-59, at East Campus Arena ... RIT made more than half its shots (31 of 58), including 13 of 26 three-pointers, led by Tara Lynch's 17 points ... She made 7 of 8 attempts ... Cori Okada added 13 points, five assists and four steals ... Elizabeth Eckhardt put up 16 points and Sam Krumbhaar finished with 14 for the Engineers, who had 19 field goals with five from three-point range.

RPI ON FRIDAY: Skidmore put three players in double figures and the Thoroughbreds outscored RPI by 17 points in the final three quarters on their way to defeating the Engineers 55-47 ... Rensselaer scored the first nine points of the game, but Skidmore chipped away throughout and finished the game on a 19-9 run ... Elizabeth Eckhardt and LaKissa Martin both had a dozen points for the Engineers ... Martin also had 10 rebounds ... Ines Ortea had 12 rebounds and eight points.

HOME LOSS: Rensselaer won its first four home games to start the 2018-19 campaign, a streak that was snapped against Skidmore on Friday.

RIT ON FRIDAY NIGHT: The Tigers began 2019 with a 72-68 win at William Smith, marking the 10th straight time they have defeated the Herons ... RIT shot 47.3 percent from the floor (26 of 55) ... Cori Okada scored 17 points with three assists and three steals ... Alyssa Juergens added 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while Tara Lynch tallied 13 points ... The Tigers led 20-10 after the first quarter and 41-26 at halftime.
