LEAGUE PLAY BEGINS
RPI opens its ECAC Hockey schedule on Friday and Saturday against North Counry-rivals St. Lawrence and No. 5 Clarkson, respectively, at the Houston Field House ... Puck drop is scheduled for 6pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday.

ENGINEERS TIE HOLY CROSS
Juniors Lauren Severson and Morgan Ondrick tallied for the Engineers in a 2-2 draw at Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon ... Freshman goaltender Ena Nystrom had 50 saves for the second straight game.

ENGINEERS LEADERS
Junior Morgan Ondrick (1 goal, 1 assist) and senior Kendra Farole (2 assists) are tied for the team lead with two points apiece ... Senior captain Sabrina Repaci (1 goal) and junior Lauren Severson (1 goal) join senior Blake Orosz (1 assist) with one point each. 

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Freshman Ena Nystrøm (0-3-1) has started a team-high four games for the Engineers, posting a 2.46 goals against average and a .946 save percentage ... Classmate Amanda Rampado (0-3-0) has a 3.00 goals against average and a .920 save percentage in three starts.

TOUGH AT HOME
RPI posted an 8-6-3 record at the Houston Field House last season after starting the year unbeaten in five straight (3-0-2). The streak was the longest in school history to start a season.

ALL-TIME VS. ST. LAWRENCE
The Saints lead the all-time series 25-2-2, including a 22-2-2 mark in ECAC Hockey play ... The Engineers lone victory at home came last season, bringing their record at the Houston Field House against the Saints to 1-13-1.

SPLIT IN 2018-19
RPI and St. Lawrence split last year's season series, with each team winning at home .. The Saints came away with a 5-0 victory in Canton on November 2, 2018, before the Engineers won, 3-2, in Troy on January 12, 2019 ... Five different players scored for the Saints in their win, including Maggie McLaughlin (1 goal, 1 assist), before Blake Orosz (1 goal, 1 assist) netted the overtime winner, with Lovisa Selander making 30 saves in the return trip.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS
Senior Kala Vespa (6 goals, 8 assists) leads St. Lawrence with 14 points, while freshman Anna Segedi (6 goals, 6 assists) has 12 ... Fellow first-year skater Shailynn Snow (1 goal, 7 assists) rounds out the top three with eight points. 

IN GOAL
Three different players have tended goal for the Saints so far in 2019-20, including freshman Lucy Morgan (1-1-2) who has a 1.73 goals against average and a .938 save percentage three starts ... Classmate Caitlin Whitehead (2-1-0) has a 2.06 goals against average and a .906 save percentage in three starts, while sophomore Jaimie Rainville (0-1-0) has a 4.99 goals against average and an .860 save percentage.
