PLAYOFF TIME
Eighth seed Rensselaer visits top seed and nationally fourth-ranked Cornell University for a best-of-three ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series, this weekend at Lynah Rink ... Game 1 is slated for 6pm on Friday, with Game 2 scheduled for 3pm on Saturday ... If necessary, Game 3 will take place on Sunday at 3pm.
ENGINEERS IN THE POSTSEASON
RPI is 5-13 all-time Division I ECAC Hockey postseason play, dating back to its first appearance in 2006-07, when Dartmouth swept a Quarterfinal series ... The Engineers are 0-3 against the Big Red in the playoffs, most recently falling in the Quarterfinals in 2010-11 ... Rensselaer has lost eight consecutive playoff contests, with its most recent vicotry coming on February 28, 2010 – a 2-1 win at Quinnipiac in five overtimes.
ALL-TIME VS. CORNELL
The Big Red lead the all-time series 22-7-0, including 18-7-0 in ECAC Hockey play. The Engineers are 4-8-0 at home against Cornell, with two wins in their last three at the Houston Field House.
RECENTLY
Cornell is 8-3-0 in the last 11 meetings, including five straight victories. The Engineers had a three-game winning streak from October 30, 2015 to October 28, 2016.

Kristin O'Neill netted a hat trick to lead the Big Red to a 5-0 victory over RPI at Lynah Rink. Senior
Lovisa Selander finished with 48 saves for the Engineers, while Marlene Boissonnault had 11 at the other end of the ice.30 saves.
LAST TIME OUT
Seven different players scored in a 8-2 victory for the eighth-ranked Big Red, on February 22 at the Houston Field House. The Engineers received goals from

ROAD RECENTLY
Three of RPI's last four road contests have come against top-10 teams in the USCHO.com poll ... The Engineers lone win during that stretch came on February 16 at then-No. 5 Princeton – a 3-2 victory.

Lovisa Selander was named one of the 10 finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, giving annually to the top Division I women's hockey player. The only goaltender on the list, she joins four others from ECAC Hockey teams, including Colgate senior Jessie Eldridge.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Sophomore Maddie Mills leads Cornell with 37 points on 16 goals and 21 assists. Juniors Kristin O'Neill (20 goals, 12 assists) and Jaime Bourbonnais (9 goals, 18 assists) are right behind with 32 and 27 points, respectively.
BIG RED GOALTENDING
Senior Marlene Boissonnault (17-3-4) has started 24 of the team's 29 games this season, posting a 1.70 goals against average and a .920 save percentage. Sophomore Lindsay Browning (3-0-2) has a 1.26 goals against average and a .948 save percentage in six games (5 starts). Boissonnault has six shutouts, while Browning has one.
