CANTON, N.Y. - Following wins of 8-3, 8-2 and 8-4 in doubles, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team enjoyed victories each of its six singles positions in a 9-0 triumph over Liberty League foe St. Lawrence University. The No. 34 Engineers improve to 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the league, while the Saints are now 5-4 and 1-2.
Among the singles wins for RPI was a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 3 by sophomore
Brian Niguidula and a come-from-behind 2-6, 6-1, 10-6 win at No. 4 by
Yudai Teruyama.
Freshman
Victor Stoyanov won at No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-4 and classmate
Dylan Payne won at No. 6, 7-6 (3), 6-4.
