GAMEDAY: Following a pair or road games, the Engineers are back home for a non-league game against Endicott.

ALL-TIME VS. GULLS: Rensselaer is 1-2 in three all-time meetings with Endicott.

SECOND AT HOME: The Engineers hosted the Gulls in 2017 ... The first meeting was in a tournament in Springfield, Mass. and last year's game was played in Beverly, Mass.

SEPTEMBER 8, 2018: Endicott jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, eventually building it to five goals, and the Gulls defeated Rensselaer 7-2 ... Kristen McCarthy had two goals and an assist and Julie Champigny and Jaylin Grabau both had a pair of tallies to lead Endicott ... Taylor Farrin made five saves in the win ... Marissa Florio stopped 22 shots on the other end for Rensselaer, which got goals from Casey Collette and Mikaela DiBello.

SEPTEMBER 9, 2017: Taylor Farrin made nine saves to help Endicott to a 2-1 victory over RPI at Harkness Field ... The Gulls scored the game's first goal seven minutes in when Samantha Crowley tapped one home off a feed from Maggie O'Reilly ... The Engineers answered less than five minutes later, when Taylor Clink scored from the middle of the circle ... Kayla Bell made 11 saves for Rensselaer.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2006: Lisa Pak scored two second half goals, including the go-ahead marker and the eventual game-winner, and Rensselaer held off Endicott 3-2 in the opening round of the Zenaty Invitational at Springfield College ... Michelle Clemente scored the only goal of the first half at 6:43, giving RPI a 1-0 lead ... Just three minutes into the second half, tied the score ... Pak then scored consecutive goals on penalty strokes in a 3:30 span. She tallied her first goal with 16:44 left and her second with 13:16 remaining ... Liz Szewczak (Enfield, CT) made 12 saves in the win and Erin Curry was credited with 10 saves for the Gulls.

RPI TO DATE: The Engineers opened the season at home with a 2-1 loss to Hartwick in which Lauren Roy scored in the fourth quarter ... Rensselaer played at No. 13 Montclair State the next afternoon and lost to the Red Hawks, 5-1 ... Katina Shiomos had RPI's goal ... On Wednesday at No. 18 Hamilton, the Engineers dropped a 7-0 decision.

LEAGUE LEADER: Rensselaer freshman goalkeeper Jen Richardson leads the Liberty League in saves with 22 stops through three games ... She is third in goals against average (7.33).

ENDICOTT TO DATE: The Gulls opened the season at No. 14 Babson and defeated the Beavers 3-1 on August 30 ... Three different players scored, including Kristen McCarthy, who also had an assist ... Taylor Farrin stopped three saves for the win.

UPCOMING: Rensselaer plays a pair of road games next week with tilts at New Paltz (4:30pm) on Wednesday and Nazareth on Saturday (11:30am) ... Endicott makes its home debut on Tuesday against MIT (7pm).

CAPTAIN: Senior Charisse Stakutis is the captain of this year's Engineers ... The business and management major has played 43 career games, including 18 as a junior when she led the team with three game-winning goals.

THE SCHEDULE: The Engineers have eight home games in 2019 and 10 non-league contests ... Four opponents are in the NFHCA Preseason Poll, led by Vassar at No. 8 ... Rochester is No. 9, Montclair State is No. 13 and Hamilton is No. 18.
