SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team won the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead into singles and the Engineers won four of the six matches to defeat LeMoyne College 5-2 in a non-league match. The teams played by Division II rules.

RPI improved to 3-1 behind a pair of wins from Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez, Yudai Teruyama and Abraham Yohannes. Freshman Phoenix Tamaoki had a win at No. 6 singles.

The Dolphins drop to 2-2.
