At Rensselaer, we are proud to recognize the student-athletes who are members of the Class of 2020. We thank them for their hard work, dedication and tremendous efforts in representing the Institute in a first-class manner academically and athletically. We wish them well as they continue to complete the semester and become Rensselaer alumni / alumnae.

Favorite sports memory during career?
"My favorite RPI Athletics memory was Senior Day in October of 2019. First, there is nothing like celebrating a milestone with your best friends. Our underclassmen gave us a pre-game celebration I will never forget. Second, my family, being from Houston, didn't get to come to very many games. It was the most amazing feeling to score a goal and assist on another and be able to share that moment with them and the rest of the fans. The atmosphere that day was incredible. My smile never left my face." - March 2020

What makes Rensselaer so special?
"The people. The people I have met during my time here are the kindest, hardest-working, smartest, most generous and most caring I have ever met. Always looking to lend a helping hand or support, they make Rensselaer feel like home." - March 2020

What are your post-graduation plans?
"I am graduating in the fall of 2020. After that, I plan to get my master's degree in either Biomedical Sciences or Biotechnology. After that, I plan to either get my Ph.D. (in what I don't know yet) or enter the biotechnology industry." - March 2020

"I don't know if you find someone more passionate than Lex. Whether head banging with her headphones, taking free kicks or celebrating with a fist in the air, Lex left all of her energy on the field. She found a permanent place in the starting line up after proving her defensive abilities. Her ability to get up and down the field - matched with her passion - left no question in our minds that she would play a big role in where we were going as a program and she did. We will miss that passion moving forward but we know we have a massively supportive alum on our side." - March 2020
