What makes Rensselaer so special?
"Rensselaer is special because it gave us the opportunity to pursue a high level of athletics and academics. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I am always looking to challenge myself and RPI was the perfect place to do that." - April 2020
From the coaching staff:
"Patches is a leader in everything she does. A member of our leadership group since her sophomore year, she wore the 'C' for us because of her unquestioned competitiveness. Always willing to speak up in the locker room and on the ice, Sabrina was like having another coach on our staff. She is one of the smartest players I have coached and was always in the right place on the ice. Her teammates and staff respected her for her talent and hockey sense, but loved her because of her toughness and competitiveness. Fighting back from two major surgeries during her career was nothing short of inspirational. Not many athletes have faced as much adversity as Sabrina in their college careers and competed at such a high level. I will miss walking into our locker room and hearing her voice rallying our team and pushing us to be better. A true competitor in every sense of the word, Patches has left a legacy to be proud of." - March 2020
