Favorite sports memory during career?
"I have countless favorite memories from RPI Athletics. I will always remember our team dinners the night before preseason starts, spending two weeks in August with just my teammates playing the sport we love, my first game on ECAV, my first goal on ECAV, celebrating the senior classes year after year, alumni games and dinners, barbecues at our coach's house, weekly meetings in our coaches offices, and cheering on the other RPI Athletics teams!! (just to name a few)." - March 2020
What makes Rensselaer so special?
"RPI is special because of the people who go here, especially in the student-athlete community. Athletes support athletes on the field, in the stands and in the classroom. I have made my lifelong best friends by being on a sports team. A lot of my favorite memories from my time at RPI involve members of the student-athlete community." - March 2020
What are your post-graduation plans?
"Working for BAE Systems in Nashua, N.H., as a member of their ELDP (Engineering Leadership Development Program)." - March 2020
From the coaching staff:
"Ex-utility player
Meagan Lettko. Meagan played every position on the field but goalkeeper. She later found out that she was on the top of our 'emergency keeper' list, too. Meagan found a permanent home as a starting center back for her final two seasons and we were lucky she went on the utility ride with us until we figured it out. Her involvement in the program and in the campus community go unmatched and her ability to push for change is admirable. We are forever grateful for her pushing for change within our own program and her refusal to settle for anything less than what she thought we were capable of achieving. Her energy and laughter will be greatly missed but we are excited for vote Lettko 2032." - March 2020
What others say:
"Meg was an absolute force in the back. She was an incredible athlete, player and leader. She excelled in every plane of being a student-athlete whether it was on the field or off. Always someone to look up to and work hard to match." - March 2020
"Always positive and up-beat teammate who is outgoing and works hard." - April 2020
"
Meagan Lettko did a phenomenal job as a leader all four years on the women's soccer team. She held a respectable presence that held people accountable and consistently raised the bar for what was expected from both herself and each other. She was a great teammate who always encouraged me to work harder simply by how hard she pushed herself." - April 2020
"One of the most motivated and hard working people I have ever met. Her drive for success cannot be matched." - April 2020
"Meg has been an incredible leader since day 1 and is someone I look up to. You brought such life to the team yet knew how to push us when we needed it most. I'm going to miss you so much!" - April 2020
"
Meagan Lettko is one of the best definitions of student-athlete. She excels in both of them while helping others and having a grand time herself." April 2020
