"Matt was a fantastic captain and is a true leader. He became our number one keeper his freshman year at a time when we were 3-6-3. After the change to Matt, we went 5-1-1 and surged to make the Liberty League Tournament. The next summer on our Costa Rica trip, he became our leader, something he continued to be for the remainder of his career.
