"Bonnke is the hardest player we have ever had here at RPI. In soccer "hard" is a term used to describe a player's toughness. I'm not sure I ever saw him lose a physical challenge that was fair and square. His natural strength was amazing. Bonnke's best performance for us was in a very physical game at Rochester where all of his strengths were on display. He was a coach's dream in the way he worked every day and led our younger guys.
