Favorite sports memory during career?
"Being able to win cross country Leagues as a freshman and then again as a senior. It was something really incredible to be able to come full circle and pull the win off as a team and see all of our hard work pay off." - April 2020
What makes Rensselaer so special?
"Being surrounded by so many incredible people who support your goals, both academically and athletically, is not something you can find everywhere. RPI has allowed me and encouraged me to be both the best student and best athlete I can be, and it is something I appreciate greatly." - April 2020
From the coaching staff:
"Anneliese had a rare ability of having a clear vision of what she wanted and always knew what it would take to get there. She had a couple major injuries that she navigated through perfectly and due to that shortened her time out of running, and whenever she came back I was always amazed at her ability to get back to running PR's so quickly. Rarely do I remember seeing someone be so happy when they ran a PR; it just showed how grateful she was to be experiencing the highs of the sport after suffering some of the lows that she went through. Her desire to be a great runner caused her to move up from middle distance to distance her junior year, and when she ran a PR at 1500 as a distance runner I will never forget the joy she had as she realized the choice she made was the right one." - March 2020
What others say:
"Anneliese was extremely dedicated and always shined when racing on the track or the cross country course. She is extremely dedicated and achieved anything she put her mind to! She was a teammate everyone valued and looked up to. Anneliese's ability to race strong 800s all the way up to 6ks wasn't only because she put in the work, but as a result of her raw talent." - March 2020
