Duba Scores Twice in Field Hockey's 3-1 Win

ONEONTA, N.Y. - Junior Brianna Duba scored twice and assisted on Nina Caprio's goal to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) field hockey team to a 3-1 win over Oneonta in RPI's season finale. The Engineers finish 9-8, including seven wins in their last nine contests. The Red Dragons fall to 3-12.

Duba tallied just 2:32 into the game for the early lead before Caprio notched her goal five minutes into the second quarter. Duba's second goal, which came just 1:20 into the second half put the visitors ahead 3-0. Oneonta answered only 2:08 later, but RPI held them off further.

Jen Richardson made two saves for RPI, which had 10 corners and 11 shots. Oneonta, which had six shots and six corners, got one save from Jennifer Tumino and four from Kristy Campana.
