In the second quarter, the Engineers climbed back into the game, thanks to a pair of jumpers from junior

Cassie Davidson pushed the T'breds advantage back to 10 points (26-16) with a three-pointer, before a lay-up from Amelia Medolla, just before the horn, gave Skidmore a 28-16 lead at the half.
The Thoroughbreds continued to add to their lead in the third, helped by an early triple by McCarney to make it 32-18 in the opening minute.
A Sarah Chambers three-pointer was followed by a pair of free throws from Blanck – who went 11 of 12 from the line on the day – gave Skidmore a 45-28 advantage through three quarters.
RPI played a solid fourth quarter, but did not draw any closer than 13 points (53-40) with 3:36 to play.
McCarney led all scorers with 14 points, while Blank had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Engineers were paced by O'Neil, who had 13 points to go along with six rebounds and three steals.
