TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) swimming & diving teams hosted a tri-meet at Robison Pool and the Engineers captured 25 of 26 events in sweeping the College of Saint Rose and Oneonta. The dual meet scores were:

Eight different individuals from RPI won on the men's team and seven were victorious on the women's. Rensselaer had six individuals with multiple victories as individuals and two of them also helped a relay to a win. 

Among the highlights were: 

• Matt Abraham: Won both men's diving events
• Shannon Brown: Won women's 200 backstroke and was part of winning 400 medley relay team and 400 freestyle relay team
  • 400 medley relay team, which also included Ola Nawrocki, Megan Beaulieu and Chloe Jepson, won by 12 seconds
• Gabriela Crother-Collado: Won women's 1000 freestyle and 100 freestyle and was part of winning 400 freestyle relay team
• Mike Dowd: Won men's 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle and was part of winning 400 medley relay team
  • 400 medley relay team, which also included Erik Dougherty, Tony Min, and Michael Lee, won by six seconds
• Dan Savidge: Won men's 400 IM and 500 freestyle
  • Won 400 IM by 20 seconds
• Ella Simpson: Won both women's diving events, achieving NCAA Regional qualifying scores from both 1 meter and 3 meter boards
  • Won 1 meter by 28 points and 3 meter by 30 points
• Matthew Youngbar: Won men's 1000 free by 20 seconds

Rensselaer is back in the pool on Saturday when both teams host Vassar in a dual meet (1pm).
